material & care
At KARMI, we work with a carefully curated selection of genuine gemstones such as amethyst, agate, quartz, onyx, tourmaline, and other exceptional natural stones. Each gemstone carries its own energy, structure, and story. It is precisely this individuality that transforms every KARMI bracelet into a small work of art—radiating elegance, character, and positive energy.
To enhance their refined appearance, we combine our gemstones with gold-plated elements, predominantly crafted from high-quality sterling silver, ensuring durability and a lasting, luxurious finish. Our iconic pre-Columbian pendants are made of pure copper and finished with 24K gold plating. They are produced by Blumart, a renowned Colombian manufacturer and our valued partner, who also creates our exclusive KARMI plaques.
We pay meticulous attention to the highest material quality in every detail—creating bracelets that not only look beautiful, but also feel meaningful, powerful, and valuable.
How to Put on Your Nylon Bracelet Correctly
Most of our bracelets are strung on durable nylon, chosen for its flexibility and comfortable fit. To ensure longevity and maintain their shape, please follow these guidelines:
Do not overstretch
Avoid pulling the bracelet apart excessively or forcing it over the palm of your hand, as this places unnecessary strain on the nylon.
Gently roll over the wrist
Place the bracelet at the base of your hand and slowly roll it over your fingers toward your wrist. Avoid sudden movements or forceful stretching.
Remove by rolling, not pulling
To take off the bracelet, gently roll it back over your hand instead of pulling on the cord.
Wearing multiple bracelets?
Put them on and remove them one at a time. This helps prevent friction, excessive tension, and unnecessary wear.
Following these steps helps protect the nylon cord and ensures your KARMI bracelet retains its shape and comfortable fit over time.
Care Instructions
To preserve the beauty and longevity of your KARMI bracelets, we recommend the following care guidelines:
-
Avoid contact with water, perfume, creams, and chemicals
-
Remove bracelets before exercising, sleeping, or showering
-
Store bracelets in a dry, protected place, ideally separated to prevent scratching
-
Handle gemstones with care
-
Clean gently using a soft, dry cloth
Please note: Even with high-quality materials, gold plating may naturally wear or fade over time—especially if care instructions are not followed. This is a normal process and does not constitute a defect.
